I read Veggie Shreds are not completely dairy free because of that.
Also reading the ingredients neither sound very healthy lol. I have tried both and don't really notice a taste but if they contain dairy or gluten I have to stay away and these are the only dairy free cheese brands that are sold by me.
The reason for avoiding dairy products makes a difference to whether these products are suitable for you. If you are lactose intolerant, the rice shreds would most likely be ok, but if you are casein intolerant, both are definitely a nono.
On the other hand, if you are avoiding dairy for ethical reasons (eg. vegan, very strict Hindu, etc) then neither would be any good.
They sound ideal for gluten intolerants/celiacs though. What are they for and where do you get them?
As an aside - by Galaxy Nutritional Food Company… What other sort of food is there?
